He beats nine other strong rivals to discover the ‘Lost Chronicle’, treasured to banish the tyrant warlord and protect the future in the undulating and difficult terrain of Awgu Hills and jungle. By this feat, Mike now cart home the Gulder Ultimate winning prize of N7 million, a brand new SUV and N500,000 wardrobe allowance. His worst nightmares in the titanic final round of search yesterday was the never say die Frank Adamu Muhammed, a 26 years old graduate of Business Administration from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He ranks first runner-up in the adventurous search. He is to smile home with the winning prize of N2.5 million.
The ‘indomitable Amazon’ of Awgu Hills, Linda Iweka, a 21 years old student of Computer Science, University of Abuja is ranked second runner-up in the titanic search. She equally emerged the Last Woman Standing and made the total haul of N1.5 million for her position plus a bonus of N1 million as the Last Woman standing.
Other contestants in the hectic three weeks search either eliminated or evicted at various stages of the competition are to receive their winning prizes as follow: Rita Uloko (Little Pepeye), the 400 level law undergraduate of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) was the first to be shown the way out after a fall and based on professional advise by medical experts monitoring the breath taking search at Awgu. Her winning prize stands at N450,000.00.
Brian Mokelu, a 25 years old undergraduate of Geography of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, he suffered a shocking eviction when he came last in a task, the same day Rita was ‘eliminated. He gets N500,000.00.
Eloquent Abiola Olarewaju from Ogun state, a graduate now awaiting her Youth Service, got the boot along with Fredrick Dutman, a BSc. Undergraduate of the University of Jos, Plateau state. They stand to receive N550,000.00 and N600,000.00 respectively for their efforts.
Abigail Apuogulaya, nicknamed the GUS V ‘Cannery’ of Green Hills Camp and Oceanography undergraduate of the University of Calabar, she collected a red card and was shown the way out of the search with his partner, Okop M. JJ during a task. The Akwa Ibom state born hero, fondly called JJ, is a Computer Science undergraduate of Oyo City Polytechnic. There winning prizes stand at N650,000.00 and N700,000.00 respectively.
The battle for the last woman standing ultimate search was keenly contested between Linda Iweka and Ruphina Ohakwe. Towards the dying minutes however, Ruphina, otherwise called “mother of the house in the search” blinked. She came last in a task and was shown the exit door out of the search. For her effort, she gets N750,000.00.
